Registration for New Voters

Electoral Literacy Club is an initiative by the Delhi Government under SVEEP (Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation) which aims to engage the youth of the country through interesting activities and familiarize them with the electoral process of voting and registration.

With the motive of “No Voter to be Left Behind“, we introduce the ELC.

Voting is something that really matters as this is what makes India a democratic nation. In light of this, the Electoral Club of SSCBS requests you to understand the importance of elections and play a crucial role in the political world by raising your voice to elect the representatives.

As it is rightly said, “Elections belong to the people” so it becomes necessary for all of us to vote and help keep the power of the political leaders in check.

For this, we need to lay emphasis on the criteria to be an eligible voter. The criteria is as mentioned below:

“By voting we add voice to the chorus that forms opinions and the basis for actions.”

Awareness without urge to action is a waste of energy and time. We hereby urge each one of you to take action by registering yourself in the electoral roll to be a responsible citizen of the country.
