During the session Prof. Abhishek Mishra concluded that Intellectual Property Rights are a critical
tool in today’s knowledge-driven economy. They stimulate innovation and creativity and serve as a
key factor in economic growth. And as we move forward, new challenges and opportunities will arise
in the IP space, particularly with the ongoing digital revolution and advancements in artificial
intelligence.
This was a great interactive session, as he has been legal advisor to a lot of business firms and he did
tell us about the experience.
The best and most relatable part of the whole session was that when he used the example of his own
watch to make us understand how ipr actually works. We all can use this tiny bit of information in our
daily life items.
At last the session ended with answering some questions raised by students.
