The Marketing Society of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies

What We Do

As one of the best marketing societies across the DU Circuit, Mark-It functions through a large number of projects and activities. The vision of the society is to build a union of creative and like-minded individuals. It is facilitated by the Mark-It Ambassador Programme, also known as M.A.P, which is spread across the DU circuit. The society’s flagship event, Excelsior, is a national level marketing cum management conclave packed with events like Corporate Strategy, Best Manager, Best Marketer and HR-PR. Excelsior witnesses participation from colleges all across India and has an online reach of 10,000+ individuals. Every member commits to achieving the common goal of bringing marketing to the forefront as a discipline and Mark-It provides the necessary means for the same.

Key Achievements in 2019-20

 Successfully retained the title of the Best Marketing Society for a period of 4 years i.e. 2015-2019
 Bagged 70+ podium finishes across the DU Circuit and 35+ on a National Level
 Mark-It was announced as the best contingent at Vaayu’18, The Annual Fest of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies

Chapter Mark-It SSCBS x Hansraj

Mark-It successfully established its chapter Mark-It SSCBS x Hansraj, The Strategy Consulting cell of Hansraj College (University of Delhi).

Live Project: Thomas Cook

SEO and SMM live project with Tripmagus: Researched about various competitors in the Travel Industry and undertook a social media audit in order to devise a social media strategy focused on increasing brand awareness and creating a community of travellers. Conducted a SWOT Analysis for TripMagus.

Conducted multiple Knowledge Sharing session and interactions with industry experts to gain real life insights into the field of marketing and strategy consultancy.

Case Study Competition for school students

A national level case competition for students of class 11 th and 12 th to be familiar with how college level competitions take place. It is also an element under Mark-It’s KRA to spread awareness about SSCBS in the entire country.

Mark-It Ambassador Program (M.A.P.)

Mark-It aims to explain the various developments in the field of marketing and management on a large-scale basis, to foster a learning environment for all students through M.A.P.

Excelsior, the National Level Marketing-cum-Management Event

Excelsior is a cross-university Management-cum-Marketing conclave, which revolutionizes the way marketing is perceived by students. With 4 major competitions that test the Managerial acumen in college students, this fest promises to be like none other.
