Biography

Dr. Raj Kumar holds a PhD in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His work centers on development-related issues, with a focus on understanding how public policies and interventions shape the well-being of populations. Before joining the University of Delhi, Dr. Kumar served as a Research Academic at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad. He has experience across multiple areas within the social sciences, particularly in sectors such as energy policy, health systems, and development. Dr. Kumar has authored several publications in international peer-reviewed journals. A notable contribution is his article “Renewable Deployment in India: Financing Costs and Implications for Policy”, published in Energy Policy.
