Biography

Ms Verma is currently the Principal of SS College of Business Studies. She joined the
University of Delhi in 1985 as Assistant Professor and has since taught many under graduate
and post graduate students in some of the most prestigious institutions of the University of
Delhi.

She has researched on how personnel policies impact the performance of Public Sector
Enterprises. She has guided more than 100 projects some of which have received
international acclaim and appreciation. One such project won the third prize in the Asia
Pacific Region in a competition conducted by the International Advertising Association and
Bozell worldwide competition. She is a recipient of Fulbright-Nehru International Education
Administrators Fellowship for the year 2019.

She believes that learning is the sustaining force of her life and an ongoing process. To her
imparting knowledge is as stimulating as learning itself. Her aim is to take this objective beyond
the level of an individual to an institution and to become instrumental in creating centers of
academic excellence.
