Biography

Dr. Onkar Singh has been serving at the college since 2009 and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, University of Delhi. He earned his Ph.D. in Cancelable Biometrics from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Delhi and qualified for the UGC-NET with a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Computer Science and Applications in June 2012. His research interests include Machine Learning and Biometrics, and he has published several research papers in reputed peer-reviewed SCIE- and Scopus-indexed journals, including work in the area of biometrics. He has actively participated in numerous Faculty Development Programs and International Conferences, contributing to both academic enrichment and professional development. In recognition of his dedication to teaching and his contribution to student learning, Dr. Singh received the “Best Teacher Award” for the academic year 2016–17 from the Government of NCT of Delhi.
