Biography

Dr. Nidhi Kesari is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management Studies with over sixteen years of teaching, research, and academic administration experience at the University of Delhi. She began her academic career at Hindu College and Shri Ram College of Commerce before joining Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Lucknow and distinguished herself academically by securing first position and gold medals in both B.Com. and M.Com. programmes and ranking seventh in the State Intermediate Examination. Her teaching and research interests include finance, entrepreneurship, taxation and Laws. She has authored research papers in reputed journals, presented her work at numerous national and international conferences, and authored books. She has also co-supervised doctoral research and successfully completed a University of Delhi Innovation Projects. Her expertise includes curriculum development, and research mentoring. She has held several leadership positions at SSCBS, including Teacher In-Charge of the Departments of Financial Studies and Management Studies, Governing Body Member, Founder Warden (Girls’ Hostel). She was the Founder Director of SSCBS Innovation and Incubation Foundation (SIIF), and subsequently served as its Chief Executive Officer. She is a mentor under the G20 EMPOWER Mentorship Platform for Women, an initiative supported by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. She serves as the Nodal Officer of the National Service Scheme (NSS). She has represented India at international academic forums, including the U.S.A.–India Business Summit in Atlanta, USA, and has delivered lectures and chaired academic sessions in the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, and India. She has served as a panellist, session chair, discussant, co-chair, and organizing committee member at several international conferences, including the World Finance and Banking Symposium and ICICDR. She has also delivered invited lectures and served as a speaker and resource person at faculty development programmes, workshops, and academic institutions. She serves on the editorial and review boards of academic journals and is currently the Treasurer of the Global Academy of Doctorates, an international network of scholars holding doctoral and higher research degrees.
