Biography

Dr. Nigam is Assistant Professor of Finance at Department of Management Studies, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, University of Delhi. Hestarted his career in the corporate world after finishing graduation. He has more than10,000 hours of Professional Experiencein the field of stock market particularly in NYMEX, COMEX, LME, SHFE, DGCX, USE, NCDEX, MCX-SX, MCX etc. after which he pursued post-graduation from Department of Commerce, Delhi University. He switched his line from corporate to academics and began his teaching career from Shri Ram College of Commerce. He was actively engaged in extracurricular activities and was the recipient of numerous medals in sports at the college as well as school level. He has held various positions of responsibility in the Students’ Union of his college and received the prestigious Principal Madan Mohan Medal (SRCC) for all round excellence in college. His specialisation is finance and he has published research papers on contemporary issues in reputed journals.
