Biography
She has rich industry experience in the field of Computer Network and Communication Protocols. Having joined teaching in 2001, taught several subjects of B.Sc. (H) Computer Science, B.Tech (Computer Science), PGDCA, BIT. Some of the subjects taught are Programming using C++ and Java, Discrete Mathematics, Systems Programming, Internet Technologies, Data Mining, Data Structures, Computer Networks, Network Programming, Data Analysis and Visualization etc. Her research areas include data analysis and machine learning techniques in the area of image processing, medical data processing, cyber security etc. She is a member of editorial board of several journals and member of program committee of several international conferences. She has co-authored NCERT Information Practices textbooks and reviewed NCERT computer science textbooks and published more than 25 book chapters, journal and conference papers.
