Dhwani organized its annual musical event OCTAVES on the 18th and 19th of April,
2023 under the annual college festival of Crescendo. Dhwani conducted 6
competitions under Octaves namely, Overture (western acapella competition),
Virtuoso (western solo competition), Raagmala (Indian classical choir competition),
Pandemonium (battle of the bands), Malhaar (Indian semi-classical solos) and Hip-
hopmicide (rap battle). During the event of Overture, the entire auditorium was
filled to the brim with people seated even on the floor. We had 60+ participants
from various colleges in Delhi and coordinated with other society’s events to help
make the environment festive and musical. We invited musically proficient judges
who awarded the deserving candidates with prize money and trophies. We brought
in several prestigious sponsors including Off-trend, DB Cooper, Divine Digtal

Studios, Dark Music studio and more. Octaves 2023 saw the greatest triumph in the
history of Dhwani’s flagship events.
