Biography

Dr. Madhu is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Management Studies at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, University of Delhi. She started her career in the corporate world after completing her CA and CS. She has more than 9 years of rich professional experience in the field of corporate banking and corporate finance with ICICI Bank Ltd. and Aditya Birla Denuvo and other companies. She has done Ph.D, M.Phil and M.Com. from the Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. She secured 3rd rank (All India) in the C.A. Intermediate exam and 14th rank (All India) in the C.A. Final Exams. She has been awarded “Best Lady Candidate of the Year 2000” by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She is also an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Her teaching experience includes teaching at Shri Ram College of Commerce and Delhi College of Arts and Commerce. Her Ph.D thesis is on the Performance of IPOs and has published research papers on contemporary issues in various journals and written chapters in edited books.
