Promote dance as an art form and give chance to our members to grow as dancers and show their talent on national level. We recruit a choreographer in the beginning of the academic year and he train us and prepare our 8 min production.

What started out as a group of people with the passion for dancing has grown into a well established and renowned dance society in the Delhi University dance circuit.

Blitz acts as a platform for the students at the college level to pursue their interest in dance and gives them the opportunity to showcase their talent to the outside world.

Every year, we prepare a production of 8-10 minutes production choreographed by well known choreographers in the industry. After intense workouts, long practices and numerous run throughs, we prepare ourselves for our first competition and the outstation trip which is either to IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay or BITS Goa.

Following this comes the most exciting part of the year, the DU fests. We participate and compete in Western Group Dance competition all over Delhi NCR over a period of 3 months against other University dance societies.

ENCORE- THE WESTERN GROUP DANCE COMPETITION ORGANISED BY BLITZ

Every year Blitz organizes its event, Encore, the western group dance competition during the annual festival of our college, Crescendo.  we receive registrations from around 60 colleges. The event always turns out to one of the successful events of SSCBS every year.
