Lawrence – The Law Forum of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies organized an Awareness Session on Legal Foundations for New Businesses on 17th November, 2025. The session aimed to familiarize students with the essential legal frameworks required to start and operate a business responsibly. Conducted by Ms. Aankhi Anwesha, Corporate Lawyer at DSK Legal and an SSCBS alumna, the session covered key aspects such as entity selection, incorporation procedures, compliance requirements, founders’ agreements, and intellectual property protection. Through practical insights and interactive discussions, the session helped students understand common legal pitfalls faced by early-stage founders and emphasized the importance of structured, compliant decision-making. The initiative successfully bridged academic concepts with real-world legal practice and witnessed strong student participation.
