What We Do

With a vision to establish SSCBS as a Global Brand, IRC fosters collaborations with international organisations for cross-cultural and academic exchange, summer and winter schools and international programs, conferences, placements and competitions.

IRC delves into the realm of International Relations and establishes plethora of cosmopolitan interaction opportunities for the students through a wide variety of initiatives taken by it ensuring students stay at par with the dynamic world.

International Relations Cell is an ensemble of ambitious hardworking sophomores who strive to establish SSCBS as a globally reckoned brand. It works in tandem with international organisations to capture the best possible holistic development opportunities for students. Plethora of verticals namely cultural exchange, global placements and events are being undertaken by the members to provide the most sought- after international exposure.

Key Achievements in 2019-20

Youth Dialogues: IRC through its tie up with CYL(Confederation of Youth Leaders organised embassy visits and access to various youth dialogues with countries like Israel, Czech Republic as well sharing opportunities like High Level Delegation visit to China for the college students.

Cultural Exchange Programs: IRC successfully collaborated with University of Leeds, Curtin and Zagreb University to provide specially designed Summer School Business programs for students. SP Jain School of Global Management also organised Advance Student Admission Program Test where 2 students got scholarships and all expenses paid trip to their Dubai and Singapore campuses respectively.

International Projects and Internships: IRC ensured SSCBS participation in Bain Works’19 Madrid which offered students a week long internship and project opportunity with Bain & Company as a part of their annual case study event.

Key Events in 2019-20

CBS-Edinburgh Summit’19:7 days, 10 enriching sessions and incessant learning, the summit proved to be a great feather in the cap for the cell. The Summit was presided by Mr. Christian Davis, University of Edinburgh who shared his vital insights about the dynamic world of business and finance through multitude of case studies, activities and his corporate anecdotes.

Hult Prize’20: IRC SSCBS, in association with Bill-Melinda Gates Foundation and Hult International Business School organised the On-Campus Round of Hult Prize, one of the most coveted business ideation challenge having participation across Delhi University. In a fiercely contested event, Project Pravaah (Enactus SSCBS) was declared the winner and would be representing India in the regionals at Thailand.

Upcoming Events in 2020-21

  1. Mission Admissions 2020: IRC welcomed representatives from Columbia Business School and Kedge Business School to enlighten prospective students regarding the admission processes at the these top business schools with special focus on guiding students in creating an impressive profile for the process.
