Shikha Gupta, Ph.D.

What is the purpose of life? If one were to express this in just a word, it would have to be “happiness”. The purpose of education must therefore accord with the purpose of life.

Biography

Dr. Shikha Gupta started her career in 1997 with HCL-Technologies and subsequently worked as a software analyst with XRT-CERG, Inc., USA. Teaching in SSCBS since 2001, she is working as an Associate Professor since 2016. She has taught subjects including Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Document Preparation & Presentation Software, Computer Graphics for B.Sc. (H) Computer Science, B.Tech. (Computer Science), BIT, PGDCA, MCA. With more than 15 years of research experience, her recent interests include Bioinformatics, Teaching Pedagogy, Social network analysis, and Process mining. She has published and presented more than 30 research papers in journals and international conferences. Author of books, she has been invited as a reviewer & editorial board member for journals, and a technical committee member for international conferences.
