Vijaylakshmi is focussing her research on the various aspects of Corporate Governance which includes board of directors’ composition, demographic & statutory diversity and their contribution to efficiently manage the company’s affairs, in order to improve its performance which shall prove useful for the investors and other stakeholders. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. She was awarded a Junior Research Fellowship from the University Grants Commission. She has also presented papers at both national and international conferences.
