SUMMARY:Dental Check up Session
DESCRIPTION:NSS SSCBS\, in collaboration with House of Clove\, organized a free dental check-up campaign at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies\, University of Delhi\, on April 18th and 19th\, 2024. The event aimed to promote oral health awareness among students\, faculty\, and staff by highlighting the importance of regular dental check-ups in preventing major dental issues and detecting early signs of oral diseases\, including cancer. \nThe campaign featured a speaker session by Dr. Adrita Nag\, the zonal clinic head at Clove Dental\, who shared valuable insights on maintaining oral hygiene. Dr. Nag\, with over 20 years of experience and having treated over 400\,000 patients\, emphasized the critical role of good oral practices in overall health. \nAround 200 students\, faculty members\, and supporting staff participated in the check-up sessions. The attending dentists conducted thorough examinations\, provided consultations on potential dental issues\, and recommended preventive measures. Participants received free mouth cleaners\, and students were offered various discounts on dental services. \nThe campaign was held at the college’s 7th-floor Seminar Hall throughout the college hours\, effectively contributing to the well-being of the college community by fostering awareness and providing access to quality dental care. \nEvent Report
