Parishram: The official Sports Society of SSCBS undertakes all the activities & events relating to sports in the college.

With motto of “The Spirit Lies In Sports…!”, the society makes sure that competitive sporting activity, along with mainstream academics form an integral part of the CBSite’s life here.

Formed in 2007, the Society follows a complete 3 tier organizational hierarchy with a rigid recruitment process to ensure best members. The members include State & National Level Sports Champions, making it one of the most popular and respected societies of CBS.

Parishram holds the sole charge of Selecting & Training the OFFICIAL SOCCER & CRICKET team of SSCBS, which represents the college at various pan-India level Sports Events.

•  1^st position in Table Tennis (Doubles) at Athleema – Annual Sports Events by Asian Education Group 2^nd position in Table Tennis (Singles)
• 1^st position in Chess
• 2^nd position in Inter-college Football at CVS
• 2^nd position in Inter-college Basketball at CVS

Parishram has organised many intra-college tournaments throughout the year. Among these, CBS Cricket League (CCL) and Adrenaline are the flagship events of the society.

CCL is a round robin cricket tournament spanning 15 days whereas Adrenaline is a multi-sport fest.

The society conducts sessions on health and fitness, yoga workshops and calisthenics challenges to keep a sporting culture alive in the college.

We hope to make the next academic session as engaging as this one. We aim at organising inter college tournaments. We are planning to conduct a grand inter-college sports fest next year.

A wise man once said, “One man practicing sportsmanship is far better than a hundred teaching it”. So, we at Parishram aim to keep ourselves engaged in our sporting endeavours and also uplift our college’s sporting culture by organising tournaments with huge footfalls.
